Adopt-a-pollinator

Outdoor education is an important part of IBO’s mission. As part of our Adopt-a-Pollinator garden project, our partners help us bring students outside in order to learn about the importance of pollinators, water quality, and access to open spaces. Students learn about how bees collect pollen from the blossoms of trees and flowers. The program teaches them about pollinator plants and insects to understand their importance to the food supply, and to get kids learning while being outdoors. Students are connected to their parks and nearby outdoor spaces that are always available to them.
